We are presently recruiting men, women and teens (15 years in age and older—Children of team members are welcome to attend and participate).
Program Opportunities
- Bi-lingual Shepherds – Adults who attend Kidz Pointe in its entirety on a weekly basis and build relationships with the children by participating and helping with all activities. Qualifications: Love the Lord and love children. Time Commitment: Weekly 3:30 to 5:30 on Tuesday afternoons.
- Boys’ Small Group Study Leader – Men who are willing to reach out and invest themselves in the life of boys by leading or assisting with the boys’ Bible study and participate in planned Kidz Pointe activities. Qualifications: Love the Lord and love children. Time Commitment: Weekly. Wednesday 4:00 – 6:00 (boys ages 7 – 10 yrs) or Wednesday 5:00 – 7:00 (boys ages 11 – 14yrs)
- Soccer Game Facilitator – When we play soccer we always end up with more children than we came out with. The children love soccer!! Qualifications: Know soccer and be able to facilitate the game activity. Time Commitment: 5:00 – 5:30 weekly on Tuesday or Wednesday (weather permitting). Open to “schedule permitting” basis.
- Game Leader – Lead children for 30 minutes in outside/indoor games (weather determining). Time Commitment: 5:00 – 5:30 weekly on Tuesday or Wednesday. Open to rotation basis or “schedule permitting”.
- Music leader – Lead children in song at our weekly Kidz Pointe meeting at 4:00 p.m. Qualifications: Love of Jesus, love of children and love of worship. Time Commitment: 20 minutes, weekly on Tuesday or Wednesday. Open to a rotation basis or “schedule permitting.”
- Shepherds – Adults who attend Kidz Pointe in its entirety on a weekly basis and work at building a relationship with the children by participating and helping with all the activities scheduled. Qualifications: Love the Lord and love children. Time Commitment: 2 ½ hours weekly on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Shepherd Substitutes – Adults who can occasionally step in for a Shepherd and help with the activities scheduled for that day. Qualifications: Love the Lord and love children. Time Commitment: 2 ½ hours as needed.
Support Opportunities
- Straightening & Cleaning – If you like your environment neat and tidy, we need your help! Time Commitment: Occasional & according to your schedule.
- Special Events – Help with parties in the capacity of baking, putting together treat bags, decorating etc. Time Commitment: Occasional & according to your schedule.
- Library “Help!” – We’re building a library and we need your help sorting through donated books and organizing them on the shelf. Time Commitment: Occasional & according to your schedule.
- Maintenance – Are you a Mr. or Ms. Fix it? At times we need repairs made, shelves hung and locks put on, etc. We would love to have someone who could make themselves available to do these types of jobs when needed! Time Commitment: Occasional & according to your schedule.
- Wall and Room Decorating – Help us make Kidz Pointe a bright and cheery place by using your creative ability to decorate walls and rooms for the holidays and through out the year. We want children to be reminded of Jesus the moment they walk in the door! Time Commitment: Occasional & according to your schedule.
- Communications – Work out of your home to assist us in typing schedules, memos and other communication related documents. Time Commitment: Occasional & according to your schedule.
